Otto Pankok and Ceija Stojka
November 15 - 23; French Institute, Budapest
An art exhibition, displaying works from the German expressionist Otto Pankok (1893-1966) and Austrian Roma artist Ceija Stojka (1933-) will be housed in the French Institute between the 15th and 23rd November 2012.
The exhibition will present Pankok's astounding portraits, as well as his wood and copperplate works depicting Roma and Sinti families, and Stojka's haunting works.
The exhibition will be the first public showing in Hungary of the works of the German artist, blacklisted by the Nazis, and of the Austrian Holocaust survivor.
