In 1991 Pierre was succeeded by Ira Spaulding who conducted the choir singing Mozart's Requiem and Beethoven's Missa Solemnis, among others. Yt Nicolai conducted the choir from November 2001 to July 2008. Since September 2008 the choir is conducted by Servaas Schreuders. The choir's name was changed into the Amsterdam Student Choir at the beginning of 2002.

Repertoire
The choir has built up quite a repertoire. When Yt Nicolai was conductor, they sang Maurice Duruflé’s Requiem and Vivaldi's Gloria, among others. With Servaas Schreuders as their conductor they have performed Gioacchino Rossini’s the Petite Messe Solennelle, Mozart’s Great Mass in C minor and works from Monteverdi, Bach and Whitacre. In April 2011 the Amsterdam Student Choir performed the Matthäus Passion by J.S. Bach in association with the Lundi Bleu string orchestra.

About the conductor: Servaas Schreuders (1965) studied trombone at the Maastricht Academy of Music. In 1992 he took a supplementary Choral Conducting course at the SNK foundation (Unisono) and attended the Kurt Thomas course for Choral Conducting several times. In 2005 he passed the Choral Conducting course with Rob Vermeulen at the Utrecht School of the Arts with distinction. During the last few years he has conducted various choirs, from children's choir to war song choir. In the autumn of 2008 Servaas succeeded Yt Nicolai at the Amsterdam Student Choir. He also teaches Music Teaching at the Utrecht School of the Arts and has been repetiteur at the Dutch Student Chamber Choir several times. Servaas is not only the conductor of the Amsterdam Student Choir, but also of the Collegium Utrecht chamber choir.
