Presentation: Zoni Weisz

Zoni Weisz is a member of the Dutch Auschwitz Committee and the International Auschwitz Committee and keeps the memory of the Holocaust alive through various activities.
In January 2007 he was the principal speaker at the opening of the exhibition "The Holocaust against the Roma and Sinti and present-day racism in Europe", held at the United Nations headquarters in New York.

Weisz is a jury member for assigning the European Civil Rights award of the Sinti and Roma.

On January 27, 2011 Weisz was the first representative of the Sinti and Roma to address the German Parliament to commemorate the liberation of Auschwitz. In his speech, Weisz described his own experiences.
