Kadri Tegelmann (alto)

Kadri was born in Estonia. She took up the violin at the school of music in Jõgeva and continued her violin studies at the University of Tartu. Kadri also graduated in classical singing at the Heino Eller Music School. She is currently studying with Maria Acda for her bachelor degree in singing and teaching at the Royal Conservatory in The Hague. During her studies she attended master classes from Eva Märtson, Barbara Pearson, Rita Dams and Carolyn Watkinson. Kadri sang the mezzo part in C. Saint-Säens' "Christmas Oratorio", G.B. Pergolesi's "Stabat Mater" and G.F. Händel's "Anthem for the Funeral of Queen Caroline". As a choir member she participated in various projects, e.g. W.A. Mozart's "Krönungsmesse", B. Bartok's "Missa Tango"; C. Frank's "Requiem", G. Faure's "Requiem" and J. McMillan's "Quickening". Kadri also joined the Netherlands Radio Choir for a performance of G. Puccini's "Messa di Gloria" and sang one of the principal parts in Chiel Meijering's opera "Zinnenwald border post".
