| Laurent Deleuil (bass)
Laurent Deleuil is currently a member of the Dutch National Opera Academy in Amsterdam. In 2010, he received his Bachelor’s degree in Voice at Université de Montréal, where he had previously completed a Master’s degree in Piano. Laureate of the Canadian organization the ‘Jeunes Ambassadeurs Lyriques’ in 2009 and 2010, he was also finalist at the International Voice Competition in Marmande, France, in 2011, and was awarded Third Prize at the prestigious Canadian Prix d’Europe 2010. His last roles include 'Don Giovanni', le Gendarme in 'Les Mamelles de Tirésias' and Belcore in 'L’Elisir d’Amore'. At the Université de Montréal, he has played Leporello in 'Don Giovanni'; Count Carnero in 'Der Zigeunerbaron' and Baryton Martin in 'Kopernikus'. He also held the leading role in the 2008 Bay Area Summer Opera and Theater Institute production of Purcell’s 'Dido and Aeneas', in San Francisco. Finally, Laurent has been regularly invited to perform in concert with the Orchestre symphonique des jeunes de Montréal.
