Emanuela Pascu (mezzosopran)

Distinguished with the mention award at the 2011 edition of the International Singing Competition "Masters of the Lyrical Art", mezzo-soprano Emanuela Pascu graduated the National University of Music in Bucharest, where she studied with professors Mariana Colpos, Andreiana Rosca and Ionel Voineag. She is a laureate of several national prizes and of the second Prize at the National Music Competition "Marţian Negrea" (Ploiesti). She collaborated with the Brasov Opera House, where she performed the role Amelia in the opera "La Casa de Bernarda Alba" by Miguel Ortega. She also performed the roles Marcellina in "Le Nozze di Figaro" by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Dido in "Dido and Aeneas" by Henry Purcell, Rosina in "Il Barbiere di Siviglia" by Gioachino Rossini. She gave numerous concerts in the country, at Tulcea, Ploiesti, Galati, Sinaia, Slobozia, Braila, Suceava and in Bucharest.
