Daniel Filipescu started his career at the Comic Opera for Children, where he had the chance to learn the secrets from the famous Romanian actress Stela Popescu.
Daniel is a soloist of the Bucharest National Opera since 1999, and his repertoire includes roles such as Guglielmo in "Cosi fan tutte", the Count in "Marriage of Figaro", Masetto in "Don Giovanni", Papageno in "The Magic Flute" (Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart), Belcore in "Elixir of Love" (Gaetano Donizetti), Dr. Falke in "Die Fledermaus'' (Johann Strauss II), Dorval in "Il burbero di buon core'' (Vicente Martin y Soler), etc.
